I have a site that is .NET and every time I publish the site
I have to reinstall Metatraffic, not the db I keep it somewhere
safe, but it is a drag to do this all the time.
Is there any way to install metatraffic in another directory
besides wwwroot?

Installation Question
Why do you have to reinstall MetaTraffic? It sounds like you are overwriting the configuration files when you are publishing your web site and its causing you to have to have to reinstall.
Its generally recommended that you install MetaTraffic into its own folder, then however you are publishing your web site you should exclude that folder so you do not overwrite the files.
