Hi Chad -

Often when checking Page View Detail under MetaTraffic, I see hits to the following link: /metatraffic2/track.asp.

Could you please advise in terms of what these hits are?

I have seen them occasionally as well. The track.asp file is the MetaTraffic tracking script that logs activity.

I assume you are using the javascript tracking method? I believe the hits are caused by spiders finding the tracking URL in the javascript code and accessing the tracking URL. The reason that the tracking URL can be tracked in MetaTraffic is because its the best way to debug and test a MetaTraffic installation by loading the track.asp page directly in a web page.
