While looking at some of my reports, I noticed a very strange useragent specification. It was set to "SURF", nothing else!
Extending the researches on the entries stored in the DB, it looks like a client based utility. I came to that conclusion simply because I noticed that within a user session the consulted pages were duplicated for the IP/SessionID pair and time range. So I have hits for the "normal" useragent and another, right after, for the "SURF" useragent, with the same IP/SessionID pair, only a couple of seconds later.
Anyone knows about such a surfing tool, spider, or whaterver you want to call it, that would follow the user in his session like a little chapperon ?
